The Full Story
Zaomenkan Sports Bar
A restaurant AV upgrade combining four sports displays, flexible HDMI routing and Bose pendant audio for a bright, high-ceiling venue.
Project Background
Zaomenkan BBQ Sports Bar needed an audiovisual upgrade that supported both sports viewing and the atmosphere of a busy restaurant. The existing projection was difficult to see in the bright room, while the audio installation needed attention and did not offer convenient music streaming. Avvantage’s June 2026 project brought the display and sound systems together around practical restaurant operation.
The venue measured approximately 49 by 39 feet, with a 20-foot ceiling. That scale influenced screen positions, speaker coverage and installation access. The brief called for two television sources to be distributed across four displays, giving the team more flexibility in how it presented sports content throughout the dining space.
The Challenge
A screen that works well in one seat may be difficult to see from another. In this restaurant, image visibility had to be considered alongside the room’s brightness and the sightlines from different dining positions. The high ceiling also made display mounting and audio placement important parts of the design.
Audio had a separate but related role. During normal service, staff needed music that supported the restaurant atmosphere and could be selected without a complicated routine. The finished setup therefore needed to serve sports viewing, everyday background music and staff control as one coordinated system.
The Solution
Avvantage planned display positions around the restaurant and integrated a large 100-inch television with a ceiling mount. An 8 × 8 HDMI matrix provided the routing platform for the two TV sources and four displays. This arrangement allows different sports sources to serve multiple screens rather than tying each viewing position to an isolated source.
The audio work combined Bose pendant speakers with new amplification. Speaker selection and Bluetooth playback were included to make everyday music use more convenient. Display mounting, signal distribution and audio connections were treated as connected parts of the venue upgrade.
After installation, the team configured source selection and music playback for routine staff operation. The emphasis was on a usable result: a restaurant team should be able to change content and play music without needing to understand every connection behind the system.

Before & After
View before photograph · View completed installation
The original project photograph records the previous projection and viewing area. Completed photographs show the installed sports displays and pendant audio within the dining space. Together, they document the shift from a projection arrangement challenged by ambient light to multiple viewing positions supported by coordinated audio.
Project Outcome
The completed installation provided more accessible sports viewing, improved music playback and simpler day-to-day operation. The project shows how display scale, signal routing and distributed sound can be planned around the same restaurant environment.
